PHOTOGRAPHER / DIRECTOR
Lorna developed a love of photography in her teens and went on to study at IADT Dublin. Achieving a first class honours degree, she was awarded the student photography prize and received critical acclaim for her degree exhibition.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Lorna was a photographic assistant to several renowned photographers before setting up her own practice in the early naughties. Since then she has enjoyed photographing many interesting people. Client include RTÉ, Magee Clothing, MA International, Beacon Court, IBM, Ulster Bank, Pepe Jeans, Levis, L’Oreal, Arnotts, Brown Thomas, Peter Marks, Nike, Universal Music, EMI Records, Sony Music, Kohl Cosmetics, Hennessy, Image Magazine, The Gloss Magazine, The Sunday Times Style Magazine, The Sunday Independent Life Magazine, The Irish Times and British Vogue amongst others.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           In 2012 Lorna wrote and directed independent feature film 'Meeting on the stairs', a 73 mins, micro budget film selected for the ‘Human Rights Film Festival of Barcelona’ traveling Programme, screening in USA, Spain, South America and West Africa as well as Ireland.  2014 has seen her complete a MSc in Digital Film Production and co-direct,  award winning feature ‘Poison Pen’, 93 mins, written by Eoin Colfer and produced as part of Filmbase / Staffordshire University’s programme. Acquired for television by UTV and available on Amazon Prime.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Along with the feature films listed above, Lorna has written and directed a number of shorts, art and fashion films and TV adverts.
